Analyst, Procurement Sourcing - Construction
Overall Job Summary
Responsible for alleviating the current transactional workload on the procurement team. This role primary focus will be to review contracts and handle renewals for Tractor Supply Company. This is an important role within the Indirect Procurement Team and will report directly to the IT and Corporate Services Director, who is responsible for all Procurement at Tractor Supply. Since technology is an essential thread that runs throughout Tractor Supply Company, and the Indirect Procurement team is key strategic component, this role provides an excellent opportunity to make a significant impact.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
• Supporting Sourcing Managers and escalating issues as needed
• Provide transactional support, to ensure daily workflows move smoothly and within policy.
• Develop training material, and update so as we continue to scale the team new team members can be trained quickly.
• Ariba SME for Contract Workspace, as well as cross trained on other Ariba modules
• Create and train team members across TSC on Ariba best practices and usage; Create training materials and provide ongoing best practice support on Ariba eSourcing tools
• Provide strategic guidance on Ariba implementation and functionality.
• Build out roadmap and process for Ariba Contracts adoption outside of IT
• Provide end-to-end administrative support for all contracts, Red-line contracts to facilitate negotiations.
• Collaborate with various internal stakeholders on all requirements and work with Legal, Information Security, and Risk Management on contract negotiation, optimally structure contracts, and schedule regular meetings with internal requestors to review expiring contracts and investigate renewal options for cost savings opportunities.
• Ensure all contracts for legal review are organized, validated, and include all supporting documentation.
• Ownership of digital NDA process
• Cross functional team management to ensure removal of any roadblocks for contract execution.
• Lead sourcing process in partnership with Procurement Managers/Directors, including preparing RFI/RFPs by working closely with the stakeholders to understand their needs, translating that into the RFI/RFP template, asking the right questions, and managing the RFI/RFP process.
• Research, identify and advise Tractor Supply stakeholders on future renewal procurement opportunities.
• Drive a plan to document the current renewal opportunities and workflow and work to improve the current vendor renewal process.
• Analysis of supplier proposals, to differentiate between suppliers on proposed solution, commercial and legal terms.
