Analyst II, Enterprise Data
Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring that business-critical data is accurately entered, maintained and transmitted between internal and external business partners. Data accuracy is essential to ensure a single trusted view of enterprise data that results in an optimal customer experience. This position is responsible for monitoring and managing data requests primarily through business requests, while maintaining required standard processes and timelines. This position is also responsible for maintaining up to date standard operating procedures while providing optimum customer service engagement.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Manage and backup Analyst I and execute workflows as requested for one or more of the following domains including but not limited to Products (SKUs), Merchandising or Expense Vendors, Location, Vendor Onboarding, or Digital Support.
- Partner with internal operational areas including but not limited to Merchandising, IT, Tax, Legal, Licensing, Ecommerce as well as external vendors to resolve issues and answer Enterprise Data related inquiries. Appropriately escalate issues to ensure resolution.
- Assist with governance and quality assurance of data elements by monitoring systems and reports.
- Propose system and/or process enhancements and participate in testing and building solutions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert consultant to internal and external business partners by providing recommendations to enhance collection, integrity, and strengths of their data sets.
- Enterprise data creation/maintenance within internal systems.
- Collaborate with cross functional areas to define processes, create policies, enhance systems and develop training.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 3-5 years of direct or indirect experience working with Enterprise Data processes and systems. Intermediate-level knowledge of SAP, Business Objects, Spotfire, TIBCO, Adobe suite, Digital Asset Mgmt. tools, Python, etc. preferred. Knowledge in reporting, analytics, and problem solving a must.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or data related field from an accredited college or university is preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Ability to interpret, perform and respond to data requests, providing excellent service, and work within required Standards
- Ability to analyze pre-defined reports, performing error resolution, and making business decisions
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization and ambiguity exists
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & Outlook
- Experience working in an Omni-channel company that has both e-commerce and traditional storefront presence preferred
- Knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and business reporting tools
- Working knowledge of relational databases
- Working knowledge of basic data table queries/data manipulation
- Ability to identify and resolve process or system gaps
- Ability to document processes and workflows
- Sarbanes-Oxley experience is a plus
- Experience with R, Python, Tableau or Alteryx preferred
