Overall Job Summary
This position will be responsible for planning and executing promotional plans and supporting various aspects for the Company’s private label and co-brand credit card programs. This position will work cross-functionally with multiple departments and 3rd party vendors as the liaison for Financial Services with an emphasis on Merchandising and Marketing within both brick and mortar and e-commerce channels.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Create, manage projects, and lead execution of multi-channel marketing and merchandising plans for TSC Credit Cards program to support key enterprise and merchant initiatives
- Includes promotional campaigns and offers, life cycle initiatives, and cardholder incentives
- Represent TSC Card Program in cross functional planning meetings and identify areas of opportunity and collaboration
- Develop program initiative creative briefs
- Oversee marketing collateral (print & digital) production, ensuring marketing message is clear, compliant, and accurate
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance with various payment related requirements (Reg Z, UDAP, TILA, etc.) in cooperation with lending providers
- Responsible for ensuring set up and execution of offer functionality (financing and rewards)
- Responsible for working with cross functional partners to ensure marketing metric reporting
- Work closely with 3rd party vendors and multiple internal departments including Store Operations, National Marketing, Creative, Production, Buying Teams/Merchants, CRM, and Digital Marketing to ensure timelines and tasks are completely successfully
- Develop standardization of marketing tools for department including collateral, messaging, disclosures, promotional rhythms, timelines etc
- Propose and execute test and learn roadmap and identify program optimization opportunities to constantly improve program performance
- Support various operational aspects of the program as needed
- Resolve Customer questions and concerns
- Represent department as a SME in projects affecting the program
- Consult with and provide support to various internal and external stakeholders including preparing and presenting marketing proposals to leadership
- Budget tracking
- May perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of experience in merchandising/marketing.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Effective project management, organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills
- Understanding of the design/creative/production process
- Experience with marketing loyalty programs, credit cards, email, direct mail, and digital marketing
- Working knowledge of various regulatory aspects of retail and credit card marketing
- Outstanding attention to detail and focus on processes
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with multiple partners
- Ability to effectively communicate, interact, and build relationships
- Demonstrated skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Speak, read, and write effectively in the English language
