Coordinator, Vendor Ops - Carrier Mgmt

Overall Job Summary

The Vendor Operations Coordinator position is responsible for administrating the vendor compliance program by meeting service level objectives, providing proactive communication to DCs and Vendors, and driving timely issue resolution to ensure the efficient flow of product through the supply chain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

  • Manage formal dispute resolution for DC and omnichannel chargebacks with vendors via email and the vendor compliance portal within required SLA
  • Review and Approve/Deny/Return all DC submitted Audits within SLA 
  • Communicate to and educate vendors on company requirements via emails and phone calls
  • Create and publish internal reporting (daily, weekly, quarterly) and maintain the Vendor Operations Playbook
  • Maintain vendor compliance system as key business unit owner of compliance data, new internal/external user creation and maintenance, etc.
  • Complete any necessary special charge creation, ie. Detentions, TONUs, etc.
  • Identify trends and evaluate opportunities for Vendors, improve performance and/or reduce costs; then communicate those opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders
  • Act as a backup to the Vendor Operations Analysts/Specialists
     

Required Qualifications

Experience: 1-2 years’ experience in compliance, logistics or accounting related fields; any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Education: High School education required
 

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

  • Strong and demonstrated communication, analytical and data entry skills
  • Ability to self-motivate, work with a sense of urgency, and to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to positively handle conflict
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and Microsoft Office products
  • Display a detail-oriented approach to work
  • Capable of working in a cross-functional environment
