Divisional Specialist, Compliance
Overall Job Summary
This role supports divisional licensing and compliance efforts by managing the end-to-end compliance lifecycle for assigned stores, including applications, renewals, documentation, and issue resolution. The position partners closely with Store Managers, District Managers, and SSC teams to ensure accurate, timely completion of licensing requirements and to address compliance risks tied to local, state, and federal regulations. Acting as a divisional subject matter expert, the role helps train field teams, supports compliance visits and investigations, and drives updates to store procedures, signage, and workflows to strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and simplify execution across the field.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Support the Divisional Licensing & Compliance Director in executing the end-to-end licensing and compliance lifecycle for assigned stores, including application support, renewals, documentation control.
- Work directly with Store Managers, District Managers, and Store Support Center (SSC) partners to gather required information, resolve issues, and ensure timely and accurate completion of licensing and compliance activities.
- Monitor compliance status, identify gaps or risks related to local, state, and federal requirements, analyze regulatory changes, and recommend practical courses of action to maintain compliance and minimize operational impact.
- Serve as a divisional subject matter expert for licensing and compliance topics; support and deliver training for store teams and field leaders on licensing, pricing, signage, as required.
- Execute updates to store procedures, signage, and workflows (e.g., pricing law compliance), evaluate effectiveness of licensing programs, and support improvement initiatives to simplify execution and strengthen compliance.
- Support compliance visits and investigations, partner on incident follow-up and corrective actions, assist with licensing-related training administration, and perform related operational tasks
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2-4 years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
