Manager, Investor Relations

Overall Job Summary

The Manager of Investor Relations is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the investor relations strategy to broaden and increase public awareness and shareholder value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

• Assist with preparing quarterly financial models while providing guidance on the market conditions
• Compile and analyze buy and sell-side analyst financial models on the company as well as competitors
• Generate “consensus” model for internal analysis
• Monitor retail research reports for company and retail peers
• Assist with writing earnings call scripts, press releases and developing earnings call and investor presentations
• Interact daily with the financial community including communicating corporate strategy and performance to investment community as well as prepare executive presentations and speeches for analyst conferences
• Provide internal research support for the development of executive presentations
• Support Legal and Finance in developing investor communications and SEC filings
• Manage the IR section of the company website to ensure accurate and essential information 
• Plan and execute non-deal roadshows and investor day events
   

Required Qualifications

Experience: 6 plus years of experience in finance and/or accounting.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in account, finance, business or related field from and accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

• Strong understanding of financial reports, analytical methods and financial data tools.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets
• String financial and analytical skills
• Hands- on experience creating investor presentations, scripts and press releases
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to interact at executive level
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to build and grow relationships in the investment community
