Manager, Talent and Leadership Development (Product and Service)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Lead the design and implementation of innovative Product and Service learning strategies and solutions, contributing to our pursuit of legendary Customer Service. These programs will play a critical role in attracting, growing and retaining our Team Members as we scale
- Partner with the HRBP and key stakeholders across TSC to understand Product and Service development needs, and propose on-the-job solutions focused on creating action learning, and in the flow of work development opportunities for Team Members in stores.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with leadership across the organization, HR Business Partners, specialized program managers (like Merchandising and Marketing) to ensure TSC is the best place to grow careers and leaders
Qualifications
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Retail operations or other customer facing experience preferred.
- Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design required with experience in leading leadership development programs and projects.
- Develop and organize a wide range of training content based on business need
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge and understanding of adult learning theory, organizational development, project management and problem-solving skills.
- Coordinate multiple activities in an organized and effective manner and to pull resources together to meet deadlines.
- Effectively facilitate live learning events in multiple settings: classroom, conference call, web conference, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to speak effectively to large groups (up to 500 people) and present to key leadership teams.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate and report on the effectiveness of training programs.
- Adept interpersonal and consulting skills and the ability to work as a business partner with all leadership levels within the organization.
