Recruiter, Final Mile
Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of professional-level positions throughout the Store Support Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Work closely with hiring managers to source and hire qualified candidates for designated departments and functional teams.
- Interview and screen applicants for technical competence, applicable background and skills, culture fit, and the ability to fit into the organization and function effectively. Communicate TSC company culture, values, and job requirements to candidates.
- Make employment recommendations based on information developed through interviews, reference checks, applications and resumes.
- Market and act as a key representative of the TSC employment brand, mission, values and culture in the local market. Attend conferences, job fairs and workshops on behalf of TSC.
- Collaborate with Business Leaders, Hiring Managers and HR Business Partners to identify future needs for securing qualified candidates for positions.
- Provide training and training materials for hiring managers to ensure best practices in the recruiting, interviewing and decision-making process.
- Research for resources to recruit the best talent for open positions. Build networks through venues such as LinkedIn and networking conferences to recruit potential candidates.
- Partner with HR teams and hiring managers to create, recommend and communicate job offers. Partner with Recruiting Coordinator to ensure interviews are scheduled.
Required Qualifications
Experience:
- 2-4 years of related experience.
- Must be comfortable speaking with all levels of hiring managers and be able to effectively communicate both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and creative skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws relating to non-discriminatory hiring practices and best practices in recruiting.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
Expertise with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred. Experience with all Microsoft applications is required.
