Specialist, Retail Initiatives

Overall Job Summary

This position is responsible for supporting key areas of focus for Retail Initiatives that include Operations, Training and Development, Closeouts, Conference Calls, New Store/Relocation process and Project Readiness for all projects
 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

  • Support Mgr, Retail Initiatives and Retail Initiatives Project Managers with all aspects of the of managers focus area including follow up, communication and issue resolution 
  • Work with outside vendors and internal teams to order and deploy needed equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, open tops, and connex’s for all project stores 
  • Coordinate with Retail Initiatives Coordinators on all tasks that support Manager and PM areas of focus
  • Deliver training materials to support vendor certifications and summits 
  • Assist in all operational functions that support the Retail Initiatives team 
  • Deliver scripts and scheduling all conference call to support kick off of all projects
  • Assist in creating and preparing project readiness documents (critical path, pre and documents) that support the Retail Initiatives team. 
  • Serves as a contact person to store managers and district managers regarding all projects  
  • Update / maintain Workfront/Box for all projects stores 
  • Prepare and distribute documentation for project stores 
  • Assists with expense management for all project stores 
  • Helps identify missing fixtures and POP for all project stores, ensuring they are promptly ordered and shipped. 
  • Prepare and submit CERs for all project stores 
  • Process cash advance requests for new stores, sends to new store managers 
  • Process pre-open expenses for new store managers 
  • May perform other duties as assigned *
     

Required Qualifications

Experience: 1-3 years’ experience, Retail environment preferred

Education: Bachelor’s degree is preferred.  Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
 

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

Proficient use of Microsoft Office
