Specialist, Store Services
Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for the management of national and test store service programs that provide service to Tractor Supply Company stores. This position is also responsible for revenue generating services/programs that are being tested, rolled out or active in any Tractor Supply store.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Work with vendors implementing measures to continually reduce operating costs and increase service efficiencies; champion continuous process improvement; grow revenue generating program.
- Monitor service reporting, analyses, and measure of success.
- Review program status, initiatives, operations, and expenses.
- Develop and implement new store service programs, test programs, and projects. (Example: Home Delivery, Bulk Propane, PetVet Clinics)
- Process additional/escalated service requests, approve invoices, manage P&L.
- Perform line reviews (RFPs) as contracts expire.
- Partner with the Purchasing Development.
- Manage new store set-up and store relocation for these programs; serve as program liaison to all stores.
- Coordinate and help develop fiscal year operating budget.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, and retail industry preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Capable of representing Tractor Supply Company to all third party vendors and soliciting organizations required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software including Word and Excel required.
- Effectively negotiate contracts and service level agreements.
- Ability to travel periodically.
