Sr Analyst, Digital Reporting & Analytics
Overall Job Summary
This position will support our Retail Media team by playing a key role in analyzing data, generating insights, and creating reports that help drive the effectiveness of our retail media strategies. The Sr Analyst, using strong analytical skills and experience working with large datasets, will turn data into actionable business intelligence for the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to retail media performance, customer behavior, and ad effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) for retail media campaigns.
- Create ad hoc reports and analyses to support decision-making across the Retail Media team.
Insight Generation:
- Identify trends, patterns, and correlations within data that provide insights into campaign performance and customer engagement.
- Collaborate with the team to develop data-driven recommendations that optimize media strategies and improve ROI.
- Present findings in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders, ensuring that insights are understood and actionable.
Data Management and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data used for analysis and reporting, following best practices in data management and quality control.
- Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure data integrity and resolve any data-related issues.
- Develop and maintain of data pipelines and ETL processes to support ongoing data analysis.
Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Management, to gather data requirements and deliver insights that support their objectives.
- Support the development of predictive models and advanced analytics projects.
- Participate in / lead team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and other collaborative efforts to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the Retail Media team.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within a retail, media, or e-commerce environment. Hands-on experience with data analysis tools and languages, such as SQL, Python, R, and Excel. Experience creating and maintaining reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or an appropriate business-related field of study. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Professional Certifications: None.
Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and deliver actionable insights.
- Proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Understanding of retail media, digital advertising, and e-commerce analytics is a plus.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and predictive modeling is an advantage.
- Knowledge of data management best practices and ETL processes.
