Sr. Mgr, HR Systems

Overall Job Summary

This position is responsible for implementation and acquisition integration with team management experience across different modules with a focus to provide program support for the SAP software. In addition to HRIS administration, the position will also contribute on important HR service delivery projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)

  • Manage and deliver talent systems strategic technology in order to bring best practices and innovation that deliver a high quality, engaging and simplified candidate, manager and team member experience.
  • Implement and maximize the benefits of an integrated talent management system (TMS) and improve functionality in all areas including recruiting, selection, compensation, learning & development, succession, e-learning, employee engagement and performance management. 
  • Manage operations, updates, rollouts of current systems including TMS/iCIMS/Kronos/ADP and any future systems.
  • Recommend and develop continuous improvement in the team member onboarding experience for the Store Support Center (SSC), Distribution Centers (DCs), and Stores.
  • Facilitate multiple HRIS product implementations simultaneously. 
  • Manage and advise cross functional teams on projects and initiatives that impact the Human Resources (HR) technology team or systems and provide guidance in interpreting data and make recommendations on best practices. 
  • Utilize various testing and measurement tools to validate and evaluate the effectiveness of the talent management programs, including systems roll outs, delivering on training for all users, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and all related matters to ensure flawless, as-intended user experience supported by the technology.   
  • Create needs assessments and design, deliver, and provide cost benefit analysis.
  • Benchmark emerging technology with peer companies and industry practices.
  • Manage direct reports of the talent systems team, which includes coaching, training, mentoring, performance development and succession planning.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and provide guidance and recommendations to recruiting and HR Administration to improve systems, provide training, and improve the applicant experience.
  • Oversee and ensure inbound and outbound feeds to TMS, enterprise systems, and applicant tracking systems are fully utilized to meet strategic technology objectives.
  • Respond to evolving data needs from the business and generate insights through ad-hoc reporting from talent, enterprise, and other business data sources.
  • Responsible for group facilitation, training, and presentation to various organizational audiences related to technology and metrics.
  • Lead bi-weekly high-level project review meeting with the Implementation team
  • Manage the implementation of any new business acquisition.
     

Required Qualifications

Experience: 8+ years of experience in developing and facilitating HR programs, HR technology, and systems. HR Systems experience including HRIS systems, TMS, Kronos and applicant tracking systems.  

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field is preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred knowledge, skills or abilities

  • Strong knowledge of SAP Success Factors.
  • Ability to interact and recommend business solutions at all levels within the organization.
  • Knowledge of Software As a Service (SAS) vendor-relationships.
  • Knowledge of Kronos and/or ADP. 
  • Advanced with the use of software applications including Microsoft Office, HR Reporting methodology, and reporting.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technology, systems, and HR analytics to non-experts.
  • Strong HR Technology background including applicant tracking systems, Enterprise reporting systems, and learning systems.
  • Knowledge of survey deployment and data management.
  • Ability to produce results by leveraging resources, maintaining expense control, and managing key initiatives.
  • Knowledge of competency-based performance standards, measurement, and organizational development.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles, business process reengineering, computer applications, and project management.
  • Strong technical expertise.
