Sr. Specialist, Store Services
Overall Job Summary
This position will manage select national Store service programs for both TSC and Petsense locations including complex revenue generating programs & services, as well as support additional company initiatives & projects as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Manage select revenue generating programs from Operations standpoint; these programs can include but are not limited to Bulk Propane, Trailer Rental, OCC & Pallet Recycling, Power Plus, and Pet Vet Clinics.
- Development and execution of Store training for all programs within area of responsibility. (5)
- Responsibility for initiation, development, and execution of cost and efficiency improvements of all vendor programs within job description. (10)
- Travel with Operational Partners to review programs within area of responsibility regularly. (5)
- Purchasing of select equipment for all new Store openings that can including Rental Trailers. (5)
- Manage aspects of national service and revenue vendor programs performance by monitoring KPIs, contract compliance, service quality and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Leverage advanced Artificial Intelligence and technology solutions to drive insights, optimize processes, and support strategic initiatives.
- Manage contract negotiations in partnership with Procurement Team with service vendors (revenue and expense generating), including taking measures to ensure TSC acquires the best value from each vendor through the RFP/RFI process. (5)
- Implement and support new revenue and service generating programs as well as special project initiatives (which includes ESG) based on field and customer needs. (10)
- P&L responsibility of all managed vendor programs. (5)
- Management and execution of additional special projects and initiatives to support the business as assigned. (5)
Required Qualifications
Experience: 4+ years’ experience in operations, project management and contract management. Retail experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Any suitable combination of education/experience will be considered.

- Ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Demonstrate strong leadership, negotiations, communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to self-motivate, work with a sense of urgency, and to prioritize tasks

- Ability to positively handle conflict
