HR Generalist, Final Mile
Overall Job Summary
This position is responsible for partnering with the Final Mile HR Business Partner to communicate, demonstrate and drive the Mission and Values of the Company by delivering HR support that meets our operational goals and drives performance in the business. This position provides a wide range of HR support including onboarding, team member relations, policy interpretation/development/modification, project management, HR consulting, problem-solving and communication to Tractor Supply’s Final Mile field operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Min 5%)
- Maintain strong working relationships with all Final Mile field Team Members and adhere to all TSC policies.
- Provide guidance and counsel on a variety of issues to Team Members and Leaders.
- Partner with HR Shared Services to respond to and resolve Team Member issues related to payroll and benefits.
- In partnership with the HR Business Partner address and resolve sensitive Team Member relations issues.
- Support the year-end compensation and Performance Review process.
- Partner with Risk and Compliance on all Safety related items to support Safety culture within the field.
- Review data and information provided by Team Members and Leaders to determine opportunities for enhancements to the Team Member experience.
- Maintain and coordinate team member recognition program.
- Ad Hoc Projects as assigned by the HR Business Partner
- Provide after-hours support as needed.
- Maintain expert knowledge of federal and state employment laws, reducing legal risks and ensuring compliance.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a HR Generalist position.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business or any related field. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
Professional Certifications: PHR preferred.

- Detail Oriented
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to multitask
- Good communication skills
